About IUEC Local 41
Local 41 has a rich history dating back to its formation on March 17th, 1913, when it was chartered in Springfield, MA. In a significant development, the union grew stronger in 1987 when Local 47 Worcester merged with Local 41, ushering in their first full-time business manager.
Presently, Local 41 boasts a membership of 165 dedicated individuals, actively working across Western and Central MA, as well as in Vermont, Sullivan, and Cheshire counties in NH. Their unwavering commitment drives the union’s efforts and impact within these regions.
Our mission is to provide a safe and secure workplace for our members and to protect the safety of the public while they use the conveyances we install, repair and service.
